This post is long overdue. In March I moved and I want to shout out some awesome local service providers that helped the whole thing go smoothly.
Moving – Northside Movers Inc.
William from Northside Movers Inc. and his team worked so hard to take my stuff up 3.5 flights of stairs. They were prompt, professional and smiling through it all – 5 STARS!

Rug Cleaning – Carpet & Cleaning
Carpet & Cleaning cleaned my rugs and did such a great job that we hired them for my building to take care of our hallway carpets. – 5 STARS!

AND I just had him back to clean my couch. It’s basically a new couch, worth every penny!!

Cleaning – Sandra’s Cleaning Service
Sandra runs a family business. She and her husband did such a great job in my new apartment that I hired them to clean my old place, too! They were prompt, thorough, very hardworking, and just super duper nice – 5 STARS!
Everything else – LifeHack, LLC
Yup, I gotta plug myself and my team. We painted my new place top to bottom. Revamped my bathroom. Installed new ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout. Swapped the kitchen faucet and under-sink plumbing. Repaired damaged trim, caulked and cleaned up the crown molding (100 years of paint and a few cracks) and repainted the kitchen cabinets. I’m so grateful to get the repairs made before we moved in. I was able to concentrate on getting settled and organized.
